Report possible violations of environmental laws and regulations
Report Environmental Violations
If you believe there is a possible violation of environmental laws, please report a violation through the online reporting form. EPA does not have jurisdiction over automobile safety, consumer product safety, foods, medicine, cosmetics, or medical devices. These and other issues are concerns of other federal, tribal, state or local agencies. Please see guidance on what NOT to report.

Report a Potential Data Error
ECHO users viewing a Detailed Facility Report, Enforcement Case Report, Effluent Charts, or Air Pollutant Report can submit corrections online by clicking the "Report Error" button. This feature is primarily designed for staff at facilities with information in ECHO data sources; however, members of the public also may also submit corrections.

Not all environmental concerns fall under EPA jurisdiction; some environmental issues are the responsibility of other federal, tribal, state, or local agencies. Contact information for many environmental agencies is available through state environmental agencies or EPA regional offices.
